For a long time I have been waiting for this event which is Winter Sports Festival. This year the biggest winter competition in Middle Europe was held in Kotlnica Bialcznska, Poland. Polish Freeskiing Open 2016 has been on my must list for many years.
Unfortunately, every year something unpredictable in my life was coming out one each time my plans needed to be changed. In result, every year I was just about to participate in the competition but I have never done it. This year, I finally managed to be there and to take part in this long-awaited event.
Though as I said, I have never participated in this competition before, I have been following the event and everything related for many years. And this year the whole event has changed a little bit. This time not only skier were taking part in the competition. I mean, usually the whole happening was for the sake of world class freestyle skiers but this time next to them, there were also snowboarders as well as bikers.
The last ones have given an incredible show performing dirtjumping stunts that I have never seen before! That was awesome… What interesting, the sportsmen who are dealing with as it seems totally different kinds of winter sports were competing in one common competition Big Air. Well, right next to the big jump there was standing a cool rail park. Once the competition was over we had some kind of a jam session in the par. I felt like totally loved-up!
The atmosphere there was totally jaw-dropping! The whole event was really very well-organised. As every year Red Bull dj team was taking care for the music settings. Well, I wish I could go sightseeing across the whole country of Poland but unfortunately I couldn’t afford such a long trip. However I took a trip to Zakopane which now I consider one of the most charming European winter resorts! It’s pretty small place and this is the main advantage of it.
Everything you need is within your arm’s reach. Good food, brilliant weather, nice people and unforgettable experiences, what else could I need? Finally I managed to be on this impressive event and hope the next year I will come back.
